FAQs

This is just the beginning. HOPE FOR EVERYONE is a journey, and as we move forward, more details and opportunities will be shared. Have a question we haven't answered? Check back often—we’ll keep this space updated as the story behind the movement unfolds!

HOPE FOR EVERYONE is a movement of gratitude and generosity, where we, the people of Victory, come together to thank God for His blessings and build on the legacy of those who came before us. It’s a three-year commitment of faith and participation—an opportunity to create more space for more people to experience the life-changing hope we’ve found in Jesus.

Victory’s story began nearly 100 years ago, and every step of the way, God has guided and blessed us—expanding our reach from right here in Franklin to the far corners of the world. We stand on the foundation built by the faith and sacrifice of those who came before us.

Now, it’s our turn. HOPE FOR EVERYONE is our opportunity to carry that legacy forward—to open our arms even wider to our community and the next generation,
so we can more fully live out our vision of connecting people back to God.

HOPE FOR EVERYONE is more than a building project or fundraising effort—it’s a movement of gratitude, generosity, and mission. It’s our response to all that God has done at Victory over the past century and a step of faith toward what He’s calling us to next.

This movement will help us create more opportunities to help connect people back
to God through our expanded spaces, ministries, and life-changing connections.

This movement isn’t just about adding square footage. It’s about reimagining how our spaces serve our vision of connecting people back to God.

The funds raised through HOPE FOR EVERYONE will help us create more opportunities for people of all ages to encounter Jesus by investing in three primary areas:
  • Next generation and family environments – spaces designed specifically for kids and students to feel safe, seen, and excited to grow in their faith.
  • A more accommodating auditorium – creating margin for more people to gather and worship without turning others away or limiting future growth.
  • Expanded parking and access – making it easier for guests and families to attend without the obstacles of limited parking or long walks with small children.

We’re prayerfully pursuing a funding goal of $3.2 million toward these projects. While the full vision may take more to accomplish, this goal represents a bold and faithful step forward—and it’s one we believe is fully within reach through the collective sacrifice and generosity of our church family.

We understand that the goal is bold—and it should be. We’re trusting God for something that stretches us, not something we can achieve in our own strength. But we also believe this goal is attainable for our church family, especially when everyone plays a part.

HOPE FOR EVERYONE isn’t about equal gifts—it’s about equal sacrifice. When we each bring what we can, we believe God will multiply it to accomplish more than we could imagine.

And if we don’t raise the full amount? We’ll move forward faithfully with what God provides—prioritizing projects based on impact and need, and remaining committed to wise, prayerful stewardship every step of the way.

Yes. Victory’s leadership team and trustees prayerfully explored multiple options—including relocating to a different facility or pursuing a new build. After extensive research and cost analysis, it became clear that reimagining and renovating our current facility was the most faithful and financially responsible path forward.

Not only is it more cost-effective, but it also allows us to build on the roots God has already established here—right in the heart of our community.

This question was central to our planning process. Victory’s leadership team sought input from ministry leaders, financial advisors, and building professionals to explore every possibility. Through that process, it became clear that renovating and reimagining our current space is the most effective and cost-conscious way
to expand our reach.

Rather than starting from scratch, we believe in building on the foundation God
has already laid—maximizing our impact while stewarding resources wisely.

Yes. Over the past two years, we’ve prayerfully explored multiple options to maximize our space, including launching an 8 am service, relocating children’s classrooms, and consolidating or shifting ministry spaces. While these adjustments offered short-term solutions, they didn’t address the deeper issue: we haven’t run out of space—we’ve run out of the right kind of space.

God is entrusting Victory with new opportunities for growth and impact, and now
is the time to reimagine how our space can help us fulfill that calling—making
room for more people to encounter the hope of Jesus.

Yes. As part of a recent feasibility study, we invited our church family to share their thoughts through a survey—and the response was encouraging. With 227 participants, nearly 80% agreed that the proposed improvements and ministry initiatives would help Victory carry out its mission now and into the future. This feedback has helped confirm that our church is ready and willing to move forward in faith together.

As we look ahead, our heart is to continue finding meaningful ways to serve families and connect with our community. Once the renovations are complete, we’ll evaluate how to best use our new spaces to meet real needs and maximize impact. While there are no current plans to relaunch the sports or preschool ministries exactly as they were, our leadership is prayerfully considering how future ministries could grow from the vision and values those environments once represented.

Our hope and prayer is that regular giving will remain strong throughout this journey. HOPE FOR EVERYONE isn’t meant to shift giving away from our annual ministry needs, but to invite a season of spiritual growth and generosity that fuels both our ongoing ministry and this expanded vision.

We understand the challenge this presents, which is why we’re committed to transparency, prayerful stewardship, and encouraging everyone to seek God’s direction and prayerfully invite Him into their decisions. As each person responds in faith, we believe God will provide all we need to move forward in both areas.

Absolutely. We’re committed to keeping our church family informed with regular updates—both financial and ministry-related. Throughout this movement, we’ll celebrate milestones, share stories, and highlight the impact your generosity is making so that everyone can see what God is doing through HOPE FOR EVERYONE.
