We are always keeping the best interests and welfare of our congregation in mind. We will continue to proclaim the gospel message in various and new ways. Updated 12:00p.m. on November 24, 2020

  • In an effort to respond to the the rise of COVID-19 cases in our community, to limit exposure, and to keep our leaders, volunteers, and church family safe, our leadership team has decided to temporarily suspend our in-person services at Victory until further notice. All services will be online only.

  • So you might be asking, what does that mean for this weekend?
The church is not closing down by any means. In fact it's quite the opposite as we have seen lower in-person attendance and much more engagement through our online platform, Victory Everywhere, during this time. We want to encourage you to continue to join us through Victory Everywhere, our online platform. Invite friends and family to join you - it has never been easier to invite someone to church! If you feel comfortable, and as long as everyone is healthy and taking the correct precautions, we want to challenge our Victory groups to meet together on a Sunday morning to continue to worship together.

  • We also want to encourage everyone in your family to continue participating in their age-appropriate environments online, and in an effort to not create competing programming, we've made these changes:

    • Our Victory Students middle school online programming will premiere right before each main service and will last about 10 minutes. (These sessions will start around 8:45am and 10:15am, around 15 minutes before each of our main online gatherings.)

    • Also, starting in December, our Victory Kids worship experiences will be uploaded at 8:00am on Sundays. We are encouraging families to watch with their kids before or after our main online gatherings.

  • As always, we will update you as we know more. Keep an eye on your email and on our social media platforms as well. Please stay safe and healthy.

Updated 6:30 p.m. on November 13, 2020

  • As numbers of COVID cases rise in our state, and with new restrictions from the governor, our leadership team has met and decided the following:

    • This Sunday, November 15, we will be having both in person and online services. Masks are required first service (as per usual), and though we are not requiring them this Sunday for our 2nd service, we HIGHLY ENCOURAGE everyone to wear one.

    • Starting next Sunday, November 22, both services will be required to wear masks.

    • If Johnson county changes from orange to red, no matter what day of the week it is, we will immediately suspend our in-person gatherings until further notice, and will lean on our online services.

    • Our Victory Cafe and Resource Center will also be closed starting this Sunday. Please check out our online store here

Updated 5:00 p.m. on August 31, 2020

  • We are on track for our reopening date of September 13 at this time! We want to outline some precautions and important pieces of information regarding how our services will look starting September 13. Please watch the full video above to get all the details. Some highlighted changes are as follows:

    • We will be having both in-person service times of 9:00 and 10:30 A.M. Masks will be required during the 9:00 for everyone, but optional during the 10:30. All volunteers serving both services will be required to wear masks at all times.

    • Victory Kids and Students environments will be reopening on September 13 as well for both services. Please be prompt in picking up your children, especially after the 9:00 to prepare for the 10:30.

    • Victory Cafe and Resource center will remain closed until a later date TBD.

    • We are still practicing social distancing and making every effort to provide a contactless service. You will notice some changes throughout the building from before.

Updated 7:00 p.m. on July 23, 2020

  • After Governor Holcomb’s announcement to keep Indiana at Stage 4.5 of the reopening plan due to a rise in coronavirus cases, our team has made the difficult decision to push back our target date of fully reopening the building (previously August 2) back to September 13.

    • This means that our Victory Kids ministry, our Victory Cafe, and our Resource Center all will remained closed with a target of reopening on September 13. We will also continue to have just one in-person service at 9:00am on Sunday mornings, including our middle school gathering, until then.

    • Starting Monday, July 27, Indiana will be under a statewide mask mandate, which means our in-person services will temporarily look a little different. If you decide to join us here in the building, you will be asked to wear a mask for the entirety of your time here, including during worship.

    • We have put out a new survey, which you can find here, to get your response to all of this new information, which we will use in the decision making process going forward.

    • We will continue to have online services from now on going forward. Those will be at 9 and 10:30am every Sunday morning. Starting August 2, we will be live-streaming our service so what you see online is what is happening here in the building.

    • Please stay tuned for more updates as we continue to evaluate the situation.

Updated 2:00 p.m. on May 5, 2020

  • After Governor Holcomb’s announcement of his 4 phase plan this Friday to reopen the state of Indiana, here is how Victory is responding:

    • At this time, we will continue to be ONLINE ONLY. Our leadership team has made this decision for the safety of you and your family. We have a lot of high risk people that call Victory home. We don’t want to jeopardize your health and safety or our witness to our community by opening too soon. We also don’t want to open without being able to provide a full Victory experience, including our main services and our Victory Kids and Victory Student ministries as well.

    • We have a target date of July 5 to reopen. Please know that this is just a target date, and it may change as things continue to develop. Along with this, we are setting a target date to fully reopen on August 2.

    • We have chosen to forego summer activities like Summer Surge and CIY, and are currently evaluating camp.

    • We have seen do a lot of incredible things here at Victory during this quarantine, and the launch of our online ministry, including our highest attended services, countless people serving in our community, and even more people getting plugged into groups as well as first time givers!

    • Please watch the video above for a more in-depth explanation ofVictory’s response.

Updated 4:30 p.m. on March 24, 2020

  • We are continuing to closely monitor information and announcements surround the coronavirus. As you know the schools have been closed until at least May 1 and most recently, the governor has basically shut down the state of Indiana, advising everyone except essential personnel to stay home. That new update is in place until at least April 7.

  • Our leadership team met on Monday, March 23, to discuss how these new announcements would affect us.

  • Due to the preparation needed to create a Victory service, and the volunteer force needed to pull it off, the leadership team made the call to move both our Good Friday service and all of our Easter Weekend services to ONLINE ONLY. Please tune in on April 10 at 6:30pm for our Good Friday Service, and at 5 & 6:30pm on Saturday, April 11, and 9 & 10:30am on Easter Sunday, April 12, to experience Easter At Victory online! Please stay tuned for further updates surrounding our Easter Weekend services.
